Do Singaporeans dress badly???
well..i should say singaporeans has the shabby fashionthingy since my grandmum's grandmum time.... Singaporeans are always in shabby wear..everywhere..whether is it in the office or when they are shopping in orchard road..
Flip flops, shorts, t-shirt, singlet and auntie PJs are wat singaporeans are in when the parading themselves along the roads of our beautiful garden city.. and the reason we give for shabby wear??? weather too hot lah..... convenient ma...
Maybe the "main" reason y singapore is always behind HK *in one way or another* is due to the special fashion sense we have and no singlish or watever..
Example:
1) Our sales person here in singapore wears shirt/ polo tee and pants with sports shoes at work but the sales person in hk wears coat, tie, shirt and pants with shiny leather shoes.
2) Young working ladies will make a point to apply simple make up to work but in singapore, it's all in the MUST DO list.
3) Even if one day someone in HK feels like wearing PJs out of the house, she will pick the sexiest one ever.. *of coz not obseen ones la* something like a red low v cut satin nightie.. BUT for singaporeans.. cute hello kitty PJs for children and grandmum's night dress for mum is the prefect wear to west coast park early sunday morning for breakfast at MacDonald's..
Well, i'm not against shabby-ness or PJ-ing fashion but at least parade with the one that u look best in.. let's not waste the govts effort in decorating our country but putting on shabby clothes for all to see especially foreignerz as them do not understand "sibei hot ah"
too be frank.. i'm one of those that wears my nightie to work...and of coz i accessorise it to make it look juz as good as any other fashion wear u can find...
and wa..la...this is a pic of mi and my sales at work.. it's his off day and he is one typical singaporean.. styled hair, sunglasses BUT in T shirt, SHORTS and worse MARKET FLIP FLOPS!!! as for mi.. i've got my cute nightie on with nice satin ribbon, white hairband and white cuffs on..hmm.. in fact i look retro...

Very funni qns rite... i heard this news on the local radios a few days ago and decides to check it out over then internet to see if it is really true.. and it is true...
Its actually a flower show held in london. Visitors are asked to donate their clean unwanted bras, briefs and boxers as it would be used in display of how to grow fruit and vegetable in it.. And guess wat they call this part of the campaign??? "good life" display..
The bras are especially ideal for turning into hanging baskets due to its conical shape.. they even named it the "hanging bra-sket".
Imagine serving cherry tomatoes out of a underwear u worn last christmas to ur visitors this christmas and telling them that u grow ur own tomatoes during a garden tour after dinner... or the HDB flats corridors with bra-skets hanging all over...
i think if this turns into a fashion.. neighbours will know each other's size( S/M/L/XL/XXL)/(A/B/C/D) and style (whether is it lacey or grandmum or half cup or watever).. lol....

I heard from my fren who once tried working for a childcare around orchard that they ill treat the kids there.... well not as in dun give them food or beat them lah but this is how they treat the kids..
I only hear abt how they treat toddlers coz my fren is in the toddler class..
The kids will come to the childcare in the morning as the parents have to drop them off b4 work.. so.. as parents.. we expects the childcare to teach them something example: singing, dancing or art... and in most brochures they have pictures of children reading, drawing and doing alot of activities.. but that is only the case when the parents are around to see...
According to my fren.. the teachers are not only trained with pre school skills, they are also trained to act in front of parents.
When the parents are around, whether it is when they drop the kids off, during lunch or when picking the child up, the teachers will treat the particular kid super well.. of coz the teachers there know who is who to be able to act.. and when the parents are not around.. the toddlers will be placed on high chairs and only given a book to play with or chew on.. and the ah ma or teacher juz sit in front of them to make sure they dun fall or do anything else besides playing with the book... and when it is bathing time,*hmm sorry did i use bath.. i should be using the word raise as the teacher juz pour water over the kids* the teacher will bath 3 children in one go and the toilet is super dirty..
My fren told me that there is this gal.. that likes to bite ppl.. and she is beaten by the teacher. *beat as in hands beat not cane or punch beat lah...* however, during lunch time when the mother of that gal comes to see if everything is ok, the teacher will keep saying that the gal is very good gal and pat her and sayang her...
worse thing is the childcare principal actually told my fren that she has to treat the kids well becoz the parents are all high flyers working and holding high positions in big organization...
So r u a high flyer that has a child in a childcare around orchard area?? have u ever tot that ur few thousand school fees a month can't be compared to wat we have in our neighbour childcare centers?? well.. think again....
My fren decided to leave the childcare after half a day as she cannot stand the way that childcare treats the children

sometimes i wonder... if a relationship or marriage is juz abt two person or does it includes both families....
i dunno or is it juz mi that when i step into my bf's house i feel a sense of unwelcome-ness..
This feeling came after that super big fight i had with him.. and it was super drama.. well... but i dunno y from then on...i keep having this weird feeling from his brother... maybe it is mi lah..coz somethings i think too much..
well, too be true i really nv hold anything against his family..still respect them as his family alot..but.. i'm juz standing on wat i believe and i believe that no one can judge mi unless he or she understands and knows and has felt wat i went thru..
i really do hope it's mi that i think too much.. i really dun wan family matters to affect mi and him.. all i'll have to do is to do my part in respecting his family and doing my part as a gf...
hmm...i'll juz let things be as it is... hopefully one day everything in my life will get better... no more relationship problems.. no more work and money problem... no more watever problem...
haiz..life totally sux now.. the only things tat makes mi feel happy is him by myside understanding mi more each day.. my daughter by myside growing up strong and healthy each day and my parents by myside being healthy and happy each day...

I need ppl to advise mi for wat to do....
but before you actually read more of wat i'm going to write.. i must make things clear that i'm not some emo-tic gal that hate every other person i see on the road...
I'm going to do my teeth whitening on the 29th this month which means my appointment is next friday.. but i have a problem... the consultant... i dunno if it is me or is singapore so small that we can find ppl that sound and talk alike.. the tone, the voice, the way of presentation.. all similar.. i'm nv seen the consultant b4 too be frank.. so i'm really wondering how can two people be so alike...
well, u guyz must be wondering who is that person * i'm gonna use THAT PERSON coz i dun feel this person deserve even a him or her* that i'm trying to avoid...sorry but.. i'm not trying to avoid that person, i juz dun wanna see that face or that THING that person calls the face.. as u can see.. i really really really hate her to the bones.. and i once tot that i'll never hate someone as i use to be those "close one eye" kind of person.
But that person changed me =) thx to that person in some ways.. if u were to know mi 2 to 3 years ago u will knw wat i'm talking abt..
Well..back to my problem... what should i do?? should i go for my teeth whitening.. coz i really wan it.. but wat should i do??
if it is that person.. should i be nice and say let bygones be bygones but secretly curse the hell out of myself???...should i juz walk away??? or should i tell the receptionist immediately that i wanna change my consultant??

As promised... my thailand trip blog..
Went to Bangkok for 4 days 3 nights with my baby and his frenz.. Was fun~ super fun.. i did alot of shopping.... so much that i nv realize.. my groupies are tired =P sorry~ haha.. but it was fun lah..
We touch down at Bkk at around 9 plus 10 and we went straight to the hotel..We stayed at this hotel called The Heritage Bangkok.. pretty nice hotel..considering the price... the only thing that i seriously think the hotel should consider is to put more lamps in the hotel... it's totally dark!!! even the lobby toilet is dark.
Anyway...The bed is so... comfortable that whenever i lay on it i go unconscious..haha
ok..after checking in we went praying..the famous four faced Buddha.. after that we when sightseeing..and guess wat someone approached us telling us abt some lucky Buddha and that the temple is open once a month.. and that taking a tuk tuk there is only 20 baht~ and being so happy abt the cheap fare..we happily agreed to go.. the tuk tuk guy then bring us to the temple and told us to take our time.. and we went praying..and from no where this man came talking to us telling us abt a gem call the Buddha heart... kinda of like brainwash us to buy the gems at blah blah blah export center..his english was really....lousy that i can't really make out wat he say.. but he said something that made mi feel something fishy..he said that he was studying in england... AND HIS ENGLISH CANNOT MAKE IT.. but i drop that fishy thingy coz i tot they canot be lying with Buddha stuff...
so after praying..we went back to the tuk tuk and he was suppose to bring us back to the shopping area..however.. he brought us to this gem export center..making it more fishy..but since we are curious abt seeing this Buddha heart gem, we went in..Buddha heart is actually pinkish-orange sapphire.. but too bad for them we are on budget so.. we juz bring out our singaporean style shopping "see see look look" then we leave for our shopping area...and we continued shopping and eating shopping and eating for the next few days...(this is to shorten my long winded blog) haa!! anyway.. pictures. but if u wanna know more abt the scam tricks.. u can go to the below link.

so after praying..we went back to the tuk tuk and he was suppose to bring us back to the shopping area..however.. he brought us to this gem export center..making it more fishy..but since we are curious abt seeing this Buddha heart gem, we went in..Buddha heart is actually pinkish-orange sapphire.. but too bad for them we are on budget so.. we juz bring out our singaporean style shopping "see see look look" then we leave for our shopping area...and we continued shopping and eating shopping and eating for the next few days...(this is to shorten my long winded blog) haa!! anyway.. pictures. but if u wanna know more abt the scam tricks.. u can go to the below link.

Hey guyz.. sorry nv updated for a very long time..
not that something has happened juz that i lack motivation in blogging..
Well.. i guess i'll juz start by blogging songs tat i feel reflects my current thinking and feelings
i know it's a very old song.. but still... it sings alot of meaning..
well, not that he has left me or watsoever.. in fact he has been very nice and caring towards mi.. but there is something in me that is rejecting all the nice tots..perhaps.. i'm too afraid that all this maybe juz an illution..juz like the last time..perhaps..i'm too afraid to get hurt again.. but above all this..i keep reminding myself that being afraid might make mi lose more...
i've remember telling someone that i no longer know how to love someone... i dunno wat is it due to.. maybe the things that has happened around mi made mi realize that i should love myself more...maybe it's the hurts that has numbed the way i use to feel about love.. i dunno..
well, regardless of watever.. i'm trying to get my oldself back..
