i mention i wanted to get the Sephora palette yesterday but after some tot and ebaying.... i feel that it's rather expensive.... SO... i'm made up my mind to get the coastal scent palette..... coz i dun need the rest of the stuff in the Sephora palette...*i only wan the eye shadow* so.... with $50.50.. i bought this.....

i was waiting for the postman to arrive today as i was waiting for the dress that i've bought online a few days back. But no dress today yet.. but i've received a letter from world vision *i use to sponsor a child from Vietnam but stopped due to $$ issues* anyway.. looking thru the magazine filled with very pitiful children, i remember seeing a pic of a gal in front of the donation thingy that i signed up for a few month ago...

it was for a charity organization in singapore * dun wan to mention name*.. the person holding the form and convincing mi to sign on it told mi that he was a volunteer and he say that my donations will go to the children to help them to go to school as their parents or one of the parents is down with cancer and cannot afford to send them to school...

This happened along orchard road and it's juz off working hours.. everyone was in a rush including mi as i was rushing to school.. with all the please and the pictures of poor children, i took out my credit card i sign the form... i was even stupid enough not to realize how ridiculous that i have to pay a extra 60 cents to the credit card company for doing the deduction.

A few days later, i told my bf about this issue *still not realizing how stupid i am*, he opened his eyes extra large and told mi that i was "cheated".. see although my donation still go to that charity organization BUT alittle %% of it goes to that "volunteer" who is actually a sales man of some marketing company acquired to help the charity organization and it's on a monthly basis!!!

and how my bf know abt this?? coz one of his frenz is the salesman of that marketing company...

KNNCCB!!!

Immediately, i email and told them that i wanna cancel my donation!!!

Charity orgaizanations in singapore are getting from bad to worst!!!

So ppl next time if anyone show u tis face...

shortly after i've sent the email.. The assistant F&B Director or something like tat.. but his name is Brendon called mi and apologize and offered to take 50% of the bill off telling mi that he will talk to the finance side on monday to do the refund... i was happy and accepted the offer....

Then comes monday.. i told my best fren * the one that recommended mi ritz carlton above all other hotels* wat happened and she was so angry,and she felt that 50% of the bill was not good enough as ritz carlton is a 5 star hotel and they have the responsibility to maintain service and food standards. she called brendon, left a message and expected for him to call back. She called again eventually when she didn't receive his call and realized that he was on leave....

HOW CAN HE BE ON LEAVE WHEN HE TOLD MI HE IS GOING TO TALK TO THE FINANCE SIDE ON MONDAY!!!

*deep breath*

good thing was he called my fren later in the afternoon and speak to her.. and he further offer to refund the full amount of the dinner... He called mi again on tuesday which is the following day to apologize and tell mi abt the offer and that his boss will send mi an official apology note. True enough i received the follow email on wednesday....

Well, till date i've haven receive the refund or watsoever on the card * well as much as i know my card balance is still the same*

You may think the i'm a typical singaporean that loves to complain and take advantage of situations like this but please!!! READ MY COMPLAIN LETTER AGAIN!!! i'm not paying $30 or $40 for the buffet per person ok.. and sand in food is TOO OVER RATED for 5 star hotel standard.. i think ever the MOST ANG MOH person will also complain!!!!

P.s: i know of people who complain juz to get money back and this is NOT the point of this post and i DO NOT encourage ppl to do things like tat!!

this is the third birthday i'm celebrating with him and i'm super excited.. i dunno why but it's happy to think and plan for him...

the initial plan was to go to buffet @ royal plaza at scottz or something like tat *coz i can't rmb the name* it's the hotel opposite far east and dinner was suppose to be on sat 7/11 which was his actual birthday but my parents had to go for wedding dinner that night and i didn't want to leave my daughter alone at home WITH THE MAID!! so it was changed to friday 06/11.. so i have to call the hotel to change reservation date...but guess wat THEY ARE FULLY BOOKED!!! irritated!!! but nvm i asked ting for recommendations coz she always~ goes to hotel for buffets.. and she recommended Ritz calton above my initial plan so happily i called to make reservation.. hmmm there were some issues that i dun wanna mention here coz thats really another story *i will blog abt it*..

Anyway... after dinner, we went for fish foot spa.. the kind that u dip ur legs in a whole pool of fish and they start eating ur dead skin.. PRETTY TICKLISH..

There was like 3 pools and 2 of them are occupied so normal human instinct, we went to the third pool *with out noticing that the fishes there was HUGE!!!* Dip our legs inside and the whole school of fish came biting..like so hungry predictor..

i manage to get a shoot of the fishes biting on his foot before we ran to another pool.

i know it's not very clear BUT the dark color stuff are the fishes!!

So the other pool was of coz also filled with fishes but they are smaller... like M size.. and they aren't as hungry...BUT still VERY ticklish.. good thing we only bought the 10 min to trial the ticklish treatment...*was suppose to be relaxing*

I've got a video of the fish foot spa experience.. u can see my bf giggling inside lol...

After fish spa we went for a walk from like Marine sq to one fullerton.. but it was totally random but nice =)

Halloween 2009??? Jerry's bday @ malaysia??

ok this halloween, i'm dressed up to be a devil (if i have horns and a fork) or a vampire(if i had fangs on). Jerry's birthday dinner... we went to some part of malaysia to have seafood.. and it's pretty damn CHEAP!!! we had like 6 crabs, fried baby sotong, two pots of drunken prawns, one veg, clams, fish, ten oysters and i can't remember wat else.. and the bill only came up to sing $$ 150.. super cheap rite.. there would like 7 of us.. but i dunno where it is. i think it's called malaysia village or something *i really dunno* but that place is juz beside the sea.. so if u guyz know where it is, juz comment..
