Today is presentation day... I could just go without having to put on make up but i have to go to dinner with my schoolmates after that so i've decided to put on simple make up.

MAC Pro Longwear Lustre Lipcolor

All the way from UK, my sister bought these babies back for me and my mum.

Both the color look alike but one is dark red and one is brown. The lipcolors are kind of like lipstains coz it's really hard to remove them however the texture is creamer.

For long lasting effect, i suggest to allow the lipcolor to dry before putting on the gloss. And, it is impt to apply lipgloss coz u dun wan ur lipcolor to look like coffee or food stain.

Cozy Cot April 2010 Event

Cozy Cot April 2010 Event showcased Sorella, Stila, LA Splash, Lancome and one other food detox talk.

I attended the showcases for Stila's spring/summer 2010 make up called the Jewel Collection , LA Splash mineral cosmetics and Lancome's Virtuose Precious Cells mascara.

MAC Private Sale!!!

i was so super happy when i first laid hand on my private sales tix!!! It's my first MAC sale and i bought my gf along.. she is not a make up junkie BUT at least she got some stuff.

The queue outside the office was crazy...but it wasn't a really long wait to get in, we got into the sales area in about 45 mins or so. i was there at about 10.30am, entered the sales area about 11.15am and everything is already GONE!!! i then realize that the queue started 1 hour before the sales start. *oh MY TIAN!!!*

Anyhow, i manage to grab a couple of items.

Strip!!!!

I'm not making a video for myself stripping >.< but this is going to be in my opinion a personal post. Or maybe it's not as personal as i thought because waxing seem to be the "in" thing now.

Yes! i was waxed and i was BRAZILIAN waxed @ strip. Well, in case u think that Brazilian waxing is to remove hair from ur arm/leg or face!!, here is the definition of Brazilian waxing;

Pubic hair removal, commonly called bikini waxing/ Brazilian waxing, is the removal of body hair in and around the pubic region, most commonly by females, by the use of wax.

The reason i put up the definition is because i've once heard a guy say i need a Brazilian wax and he pointed to his chin and upper lip *smackhead*

Anyway, i was at House @Dempsey last thursday to be present for my Strip appointment. If u r my twitter follower u would knw that i was TERRIBLY late due to the stupid traffic.

The Strip counter is located in Beauty Emporium, a one stop beauty super market!

Seriously, i felt really scared/ shy/ awkward before the session. It was a very complicated feeling coz it was my first time!!! I simply CANNOT overcome the thought that i have to stretch my legs open for waxing *alamak* BUT i braved myself up and went for it!

Hazel, the lady that attended to me was really professional. She made mi felt really comfortable mentally throughout the session by talking to me and telling me that it was ok. She told me every procedure she was going to do and that really make a difference as i can prepare myself for the pain that was coming!!

The whole session was quick. it ended within 20 mins.

Apart from good service, Hygiene is also very important. Hazel had gloves on and throughout the waxing session, she did NOT double dip the used stick. Every time she dip for more wax, a new stick was used. I also have to clean myself with a wet tissue before the session start.

It has been 4 days since my waxing and i'm still feeling clean.

My Opinion:

Although the thought of waxing on my very private area is very awkward but after the session at Strip, i felt that it isn't that bad. The pain was bearable and the people there were very professional and nice. Hygiene issues are taken care of as Strip make sure there is not double dipping or reuse of watever.

Compare Waxing to shaving, i'll say waxing is better. Although it's more painful and expensive, the result last and you wun get ingrown hair. i'll definitely visit Strip again in a month time to keep myself clean and more hygienic.

My Red House Fool's Quest Sale

Here are the items that i get from the My Red House Fool's Quest sale which was held on 1 Apr and 2 Apr. Although i bought and paid for 5 items, i only manage to get 3 items as 2 were out of stock. I was really disappointed. I mean yah i knw it's only $1 per item but it's an online purchase! the owner could have limited the number of orders on the website and a $2 handling fee was charged to every payment made.

anyway, with the products, they sent mi some post cards and a tube + powder mixture of a mask. I'm not really a mask person so it u wanna try it do email mi. The mask is called the RE6TENSE Mask 2060 and it comes with an instruction on how to use it and the benefits of using them.

I've yet to try them but by swatching them, the products seem to be very pigmented. which is good...

Benefit Cosmetics: Stay don't stray workshop

Before i start i wanna say that i really do not think much about cosmetics from Benefit... Maybe it was because of the weird names and packaging or the price coz i'm a drugstore MU junkie or maybe it's becoz i was once frighten off by the gals behind the counter...

BUT, the Stay don't stray Beneclass really opened my eye and made mi realize there is a whole world of good products out there apart from mac

*haha i was just exaggerating by sounding so enlightened, but SERIOUSLY i changed my point of view in Benefit*

And i agree with one of my new fren that although Benefit product's are expensive compared to the other big brands, they sell it with confident coz their products are good.

The workshop was really fun. Both the people from benefit and the participants were interacting with each other. Everyone seem to knw each other, which made the session a whole lot more participative. *some workshops can seriously be boring*

And I made new friends during that session!!!

PS: i found out that Benetint was invented for strippers to tint their nipples pink =0 !!! but they changed the formula alittle for our delicate face and lips

Thai Food @ Orchard Towers

A short update on what i've been up too recently...

For the past few weeks i've been really really busy with my Final Year Project... Research, Understand, Analyze and spending all my time trying to write about business ethics!!! >.<

NOW its OVER!!! OVER!!! hopefully for good!!! arh!!!

ok anyway besides FYPing, i took the time to dine out with my blogging kakiz. Coz jiaqi found a highly recommended thai food place which is located at orchard towers...

The thai food place was located at the third level of orchard towers..i think...i only remembered entering the main entrance of orchard towers, getting on to the two escalators that greeted me, turn left and it's infront of me. we had pineapple fried rice, seafood tom yam soup and steam hot and sour fish. i must say that the food is really good. The tom yam soup and fish are comparable with the famous tut tut thai restaurant and it was cheaper..

i would seriously recommend this thai food place if u r a serious hot and sour food lover + u dun mind orchard tower.. hmm..... if u dunno wat is in orchard towers....GOOGLE IT!!!
